WELCOME

You Have Just Discovered a Deeper Life in Christ!

We are so glad you are here. We are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. We’re passionate about God and people and providing them a place to have a life-changing experience through the Word, Worship, and Witness.

Deeper Life is a place where people can connect with Christ and become empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a Christ-like life and be a disciple of Jesus Christ through worship, outreach, discipleship, and servant-hood.

Our foundational pillars are:

Word – Grow stronger through Bible teaching and preaching

Worship – Experience God through prayer, praise, and daily communion

Witness – Share the message of Jesus Christ to the world

We wholeheartedly believe that if we can touch one life with the message of Jesus Christ, that life will in turn touch another. It is this type of connectivity that enables us to build the Kingdom of God for the glory of God. Stay connected!

We pray that everyone is staying healthy and safe as our nation continues to deal with the world we face. As a church, we are actively supporting community safety measures from our state and federal government and doing everything possible to help keep you safe! We are taking all necessary precautions to keep every member and visitor safe! At this time, we will continue to stream our Tuesday 7pm services through our Facebook and Zoom/YouTube platforms. For more information and updates on local health information, visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention at: https://www.cdc.gov/.

CONSECRATION GUIDELINES

The consecration consists of 3 components - 30 minutes of daily prayer & meditation, daily scripture reading with reflection and daily practice of self-discipline (fasting). Prayer & Meditation Seek God in prayer and meditation for a minimum of 30 minutes daily.

Provide that "sacred space" for you to draw closer to Him. Focus first on His glory and greatness. As you approach God in prayer, make sure you seek to know Jesus more. Pray prayers of total surrender, repentance, and forgiveness. Include elements of thanksgiving, supplication, and praise in your prayers.

Come boldly to the throne of God and open your heart and mind to Him in worship. We must remember that even in the midst of our busy lives, we must make time to connect with God in prayer.

Scripture Reading

Just like prayer, reading the Bible is about connecting with God in a powerful way. When we engage God in reading His Word, we experience the very presence of God. As we read, we are positioning ourselves to hear directly from Him. Please follow the schedule below for your daily scripture reading and meditation. Read a chapter or scriptures daily & study them.

Take notes as you reflect upon the Holy scriptures. Feel free to use other resources, such as dictionaries, other passages, commentaries, other biblical and spiritual-related books to enhance your growth in the Word of God.

MONDAY: Holy Monday - (Matthew 21:12-13 and Isaiah 56:1-8)

TUESDAY: Jesus at the Mount of Olives - (Luke 22:39-44, Luke 19:37)

WEDNESDAY: Jesus Christ Last Supper - (Matthew 26:17-30) THURSDAY: Maundy Thursday - (John 13:1-17, Psalm 116:1,10-17) FRIDAY: Good Friday - (Isaiah 53:4-6, Romans 5:6-8)

SATURDAY: The Crucifixion - Easter Eve (Matthew 27:32-56) SUNDAY: The Resurrection of Christ - (Matthew 28:5-6)

Self-Discipline (Fasting)

Fasting helps us to become more Christ-centered, rebuilds our spirit-man, keeps us in alignment with the Holy Spirit, releases God's spirit within us, and restores us physically.

For the week of consecration, please choose and observe one of the fasting options below and follow it for the full 7-day week. Choose the fasting option that works for you. It is important for you to know that there is nothing more inherently spiritual about one type of fast as opposed to another.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have health concerns, taking medications, chronic conditions, pregnant or nursing a baby, please consult your physician prior to beginning the Consecration. If this does not apply to you, we highly recommend that you participate in the Consecration for your spiritual growth.

On Giving

Be a Cheerful Giver

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

Benefit from Your Giving

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Luke 6:38 (NIV)

Your giving helps us to do ministry, build the kingdom of God and serve people who are in need. Thank you for your gift.
